How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Taken from the train on my way to work.. I think I need to visit on some point this one during a sunset!

 

 

 

Sunset is overrated   :D This is a great picture.The light hitting the middle ground, the brooding sky.... It just makes a wonderful landscape. Well done and seen.

Beautiful picture.  THIS is your route to work?!

 

In the rare occasions that you can see past the end of your nose!! Most of the time it is hidden in the mist!

 

By the way, question to everybody: what is the colour of this guy's safety vest??

Apparently the colour of the vest is grey!

I remember. What do you see? And what happens if you move the color sliders in Photoshop? And what is the color of the lamp post in your opinion? Why should a safety vest be grey? OK, yellow or orange would be better anyway. Edited by EUSe

Hello guys, thanks for you comments. Apologies for any confusion my description caused!! 

 

In real life it is actually blue. The one in the photo is grey. I tried to reduce the blue colours cause I didn't quite like the blue colour and tried to make it a bit more desaturated. And I realised that even with the blues all the way down the colour still looks like blue.

It looks blue to me also. I agree, why would a safery vest be gray? Odd. How about taking a pic of one much closer. It would be interesting to see what the Q does with AWB in that case. Fix in color temp in LR. Nice shot Demitris.

Hi All,

I am signing off for a week. I leave tomorrow for Denmark (Ringkøbing) for a holiday full of Leica Q Photography, as it is the only camera I take with me.

I'll be back omg the 13th. Expect and prepare for a massive picture attack  ;) later that week.

Good light to and you keep on shooting.
