How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

At least for me, the link to the movie no longer works.

Ken, I just tried it and it works fine on my iphone. A bit old, but it uses Photoshop. Works. I find it so easy in Lightroom. I just set max long edge of 1280px, jpeg, max size <= 500kB. Export. Works every time.

Dan, thanks that is exactly what I've been doing in Lr too. Well, for the latest images. I couldn't figure out why the upload was downsizing images under 500kB, but my long edge was too long.

Glad to hear of your success. I need to create a Leica Forum preset for the export in LR. Then it couldn’t be easier.

Pretty amazing. The Fjord sides are really steep. Thank goodness. We did a Baltic cruise last year that started in Bergen, stopped in many places including Stavanger, Copenhagen, Gdansk, Tallin, St. Petersburg, Helsinki and Stockholm. It was great. Spending more time in Norway would be a real pleasure.
