Great shot: a perfect angle, and I especially like the way the shade makes the people seem anonymous and small compared to the majesty of the sunlit temple, and a nice way to remember Nimes, city of crocodiles :-). Its symbol comes because Roman soldiers who fought against Antony in Egypt were resettled there. The croc was used on ancient coins (and now in their beautiful water fountain) to symbolize the victory.
