Unfortunately this is going to freeze solid tonight. :o   That's a bit of snow on the bush in the background.

The holocaust memorial in Berlin. A place that leaves one speechless.

I was there this past summer.

Quite compelling, and even moreso, with politics as they are in Europe today.

Brilliant architecture.

Your photograph is superb.

While travelling between Montreal and Toronto,  I have been taking pictures from the train in various seasons and in different conditions.  I showed three of the images  among 15 in an exhibition currently at the Stephen Bulger Gallery in Toronto,  and I was a little surprised by how many people responded to them.  Here is one of them,  as the train enters Montreal.  I find the Q really good for this,  using a fairly high ISO and the rear screen rather than the EVF.  Dirty windows, tinted glass and the occasional reflections seem to not to be a huge problem.  The camera is almost touching the window.  I can do some more if anyone is interested.  I should say that I tried this with the M9,  which does not work that well with high ISO.
