Another turkey profile shot. I'm totally fascinated having these birds in my neighborhood.

Me too... I take it you got the model to wear the striped top... or was that truly good fortune?

Whatever, excellent work. Well seen and very well designed and executed...

That was not a model :) That was a random stranger.

Though, she sat down on a café on the corner from this location. I spotted her, and went over and asked if she could walk across the scene a couple of times, she obliged :)

I admire your focusing skills. This is still a challenge for me with the Q - finding the right mode for the right situation. Any tips on how you manage shots like this with fidgeting subjects?

Love the depth and overall feeling of those concert shots, especially the 3rd one (with hands).  This type of image is one of the things I really love about the Q, and its ability to provide a great sense of depth due to subject isolation and focus transition, mixed with a rather wide field of view.

For the most part, 28mm, or 28mm equiv (on a smaller sensor) just isn't going to in most systems.  Certainly longer focal lengths, and especially fast ones, like a 35/1.4, can provide plenty of subject isolation, but with a narrower field of view

Sunset on Pikes Peak reflected in a pool at the Garden of the Gods Club in Colorado Springs. Garden of the Gods in the mid-ground area and Kissing Camels rock formation highlighted by a spotlight. The Q, Handheld, ISO 1600. I wished for a tripod.
