You're welcome back any time! ;)

Here is a shot from the mist caused by the unusually warm weather we've had here the last couple of days. To right there you can see the whale watching vessel Niels Jonsson. This image is close to being 100% crop. :)

ISO100 - f/7,1 - 1/1600

For reference, would  you post the original full frame suitably reduced to fit the forum limits.  I'd simply like to see the relationship between the original capture and your almost 100% crop.     Did you make all the adjustments on the original before cropping. Do you find that the crop has limitations when adjusting in Lightroom.

Im trying to gain confidence that the Q files are going to be flexible enough with the crops, to take as my sole camera on my next trip.  My M9 files allowed considerable adjustments.

Thanks for for posting your impressive landscapes.  You are making many of us envious.

Here you can download the untouched DNG file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5672432/L1000573.DNG

Feel free to check it out. Remember, the light was very harsh when I took this shot but I feel that the Q nailed the focus every time.

In my mind the lens is so sharp that I feel I can make a 100% crop without compromising in image quality,  yes the Summilux is that good.

After finish reading the whole thread here, looks like the color is not that Leica , not that solid ? My current camera can do all this as well...

Thanks for all the nice pictures!

But can it take that nice pictures?  ;)  :p

On a slightly more serious note, I actually felt, that the colours of the Q are a good match with the M9. Some of my pictures (and specifically my last one) had quite some processing done in the color department.
