Advertisement Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Hi airfang, Take a look here Availability of M adaptor L?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Bill W Posted January 31, 2017 Share #2 Â Posted January 31, 2017 Strange, I got mine from B&H just a few weeks ago. My SL was a Christmas present and I then ordered the adapter along with some larger memory cards. At the time I order it from B&H, Adorama had then available as well. There must have been an after Christmas rush on these. Leica Miami has not had them for some time. I tried them first.
Joshua Lowe Posted January 31, 2017 Share #3 Â Posted January 31, 2017 It was renamed from "M Adapter T" to "M Adapter L" but the same part number was retained: 18771. Â I managed to get one from Popflash about a month ago. Â But now it's out of stock there, too. Â B&H doesn't have an estimate on availability. Â I wonder if there's a supplier issue or if it's being replaced with something new. Â
Bill W Posted January 31, 2017 Share #4 Â Posted January 31, 2017 There are several on ebay but they are a little above the retail USA price plus shipping.

Guest VVJ Posted February 1, 2017 Share #6 Â Posted February 1, 2017 I got mine from Leica Store Miami in November. Â The lack of availability of this adapter is quite honestly ridiculous. Â I sincerely wish Leica would fix their supply chain, or overcome their tendency to not flood the market, whichever is applicable...
Alo Ako Posted February 1, 2017 Share #7 Â Posted February 1, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) ... is this happening globally? Â No. Called Leica Store Hamburg, they had both, the original Leica adaptor and the Novoflex adaptor as well. I bought the Leica adaptor last week. tap360 Posted February 21, 2017 Share #10  Posted February 21, 2017 Is there any real advantage in the Leica adapter over the Novoflex, aside from using 6-but lenses where lens profile will be automatically applied?   Am I right in thinking that, even using Leica adapters, no exif data or correction  is automatically applied by stacking R and M adapters
Alo Ako Posted February 21, 2017 Share #11  Posted February 21, 2017   Am I right in thinking that, even using Leica adapters, no exif data or correction  is automatically applied by stacking R and M adapters   No. In the case of the Nocti 0.95 all Exif data are available if the original Leica M adaptor is still used. The Novoflex adaptor doesn`t support any lens data.
airfang Posted February 22, 2017 Author Share #12 Â Posted February 22, 2017 Just received mine today, and it is still listed as backordered in major US Leica vendors (leicastoremiami, bh, adorama, etc.)

When you are stacking the adapters, you have manually select the R lens in the camera menue. The automatic functions are only available with the single R - SL adapter
