As I am in and out of live view frequently, I bought both. Out of curiosity, I also checked the Leica Boutique in the Frankfurt airport. They had received 10 batteries and sold out almost immediately. At the time I asked, they had received none since. May i have the name of that shop ? Planning to go Dusseldorf on next month... Magic Posted March 24, 2017 Share #745 Posted March 24, 2017 I lived in Dusseldorf and there are mainly 2 shops ( I know you asked about Cologne but once you are there....) named "Foto Koch" and "Leistenschneider" who both carry Leica but on the website, waiting time for the M10 is mentioned. Having scored the batteries, I didn't try the other Leica dealer in town, Foto Lambertin. Americans are always surprised when their credit cards are not accepted everywhere; I had to go to an ATM for cash. If you have a European-based card, they might take it. Be prepared. No real estimation could be made. Last weekend I visited the Leica Boutique in Wetzlar and made another reservation, as they estimated the waiting time to 2-3 weeks. Let's see which one is first. Just got a call from a shop in NJ I left my name with couple weeks ago, telling me that they just received a black M10 and I'm next in line. I changed my mind to silver in the meantime, so decided to pass... More waiting for me... But at least it looks like the cameras are shipping again. This just goes to show that there are ways to get the camera reasonably quickly, just have to find a dealer with a short (or none) waiting list... FYI jarek's order was at Florham Village Camera- I PM'd him yesterday when I saw his post about changing his mind on the color, and he was kind enough to give me the dealer's name where he placed his order. I figured it was a shot in the dark, but I called Florham Village Camera yesterday afternoon and spoke with the owner Gary. I was able to snag what I suspect was jarek's black M10, have it overnight shipped to me, and I've already taken 100+ frames with it so far. Thanks jarek, and also to Gary! Other folks have been saying it here in this thread already, but I learned that the whole "call around and ask smaller dealers" thing is real. I was on the waitlist at B&H and who knows how long I would have had to wait otherwise.
