EDIT : Curious to see what aperture the camera thought had been used I had a look at the exif-data. Apparently the snap was taken using a Tri-Elmar-M 16-18-21 ASPH at the 18mm setting and exposure was 1/60 f13.0 @ ISO 200. That clears that mystery up then!......😸...... Note to Self : Check for crap blocking camera's 6-Bit lens-code reader! Ecar Posted July 9 Share #15275 Posted July 9 Quick garden snaps from the RF coupled version of this lens that recently made its way to my hoard. It's actually quite dense, better built than I expected and perfectly calibrated for RF use down to 65cm. At about 30cm, its MFD is even shorter than the uncoupled version. Combine this with high sharpness on the focal plane and fast focus fall-off, and you could be forgiven for thinking that these pictures were taken with a short tele. Leica Vienna has had one for sale for a while now, which unfortunately appears to have been dropped at some point in its life - so, if anyone feels adventurous, I'm confident that a discount and an extended return privilege could be negotiated...
