tappan Posted May 6, 2013 Share #1302 Posted May 6, 2013 M9-P with a Leica 50mm Summicron collapsible (from 1955) Nice lens, although the high contrast lovers amongst us will probably not be happy as the lens is not very contrasty. philipus Posted May 6, 2013 Share #1303 Posted May 6, 2013 (edited) af Chapman, Stockholm | Flickr Leica M6TTL BP - 90 Elmarit-M - Kodak Gold 200 The Elmarit-M never ceases to amaze me. This was shot at f8 and only very slight sharpening has been applied to the scan (Coolscan 9000). Have a look at the original scan size - there's a lot of detail. True, but you can always add some in post-processing. I'm always amazed at how well this lens performs for its age. Good copies with clean glass are hard to find (and almost invariably require a proper CLA), but definitely a classic worth having in one's collection. Ecar Posted May 9, 2013 Share #1318 Posted May 9, 2013 That's really nice bokeh Jeff. Agree. Never heard of this lens. Is this a cinema or projector lens?
JeffoJeffo Posted May 10, 2013 Share #1319 Posted May 10, 2013 Believe this lens should be a projector lens or might be an place to order lens made by Cooke but with Kodak name on it. Since there is very little information about this lens and it could be a cinima lens too. @@ I had it modified to M mount. Here is the look of this lens. Welcome, dear visitor!
