Well, it turns out (my wife is always right...) that the name I wrongly attributed to these colourful plants actually belongs to some obscure, unattractive type of moths... The correct spelling is Heuchera, with a leading "H". In order to make amends for the offence and for my ignorance, I offered the plants a public apology (this post) as well as another portrait session, this time with a different lens.

All of a sudden I can understand why some Cockneys failed their Botany exams...

1973 Jensen Interceptor Mark III

Taken at the 2025 Brooklands Mopar Muscle event.

The link between these two, apart from the similar colour and twin round headlights, is they both use a 440 cubic inch (7200cc) Chrysler V8 engine.

Some serious stuff like they used to make... The Interceptor's license plate is interesting too - perhaps a response to those asking about the emissions?😂
To balance out the thread's carbon footprint, here's a more bucolic one:

My penance for all the gas guzzler photos.

No prizes for guessing which turbine caught fire in August 2023 and is yet to be replaced.
