M10P ASC + converted 193X Kinoptik Fulgior Foyer 50/1.3 (uncoated), 1st wide open, 2nd around f/4

Click to see these sharper, although I doubt this was ever intended to be a sharp lens. It was originally found alongside a Debrie Parvo and was perhaps designed to allow early cinematographers to shoot in available light and to create "romantic" atmospheres or close-ups at larger apertures. Native colours are not bad, somewhat washed out, but it's more interesting in B&W IMO.

I think she would agree 😉

(I already posted here a similar picture taken with the same camera and lens a couple of weeks ago, but this is at MFD - lens equipped with hood and filter, still mildly concerning...)

A bit too late to edit my original post, but since the question was asked, I should clarify that this lens came from a Clarus MS-35 rangefinder camera. It is not the Fastax-Raptar "grey" version, which, to the best of my knowledge, was intended for the 16mm cine format and does not quite cover FF.

In keeping with the thread rules, here's another one with the converted Raptar 2"/2 on the M10P ASC @ around f/4
