I had a pinhole in my MP shutter curtain, also, which Leica NJ promptly repaired under warranty.

It took a while to figure out it was a hole in the shutter .

Now I have issues with a 1955 M3 !

I have never had a "pinhole" problem on any of my Leica M's, but Leica repair fixed my MP straightaway. That problem you see on your M3 is out of my wheelhouse. I had my M3 CLA'd a couple of years ago, but other than that, it hasn't given me any problems for forty-five years. There will certainly be someone with the expertise to solve your M3 issues. BTW thanks for your fine work on the Forum.

Cheers,
Rog

M10-R & Summicron 35mm V4.

As they say, some lenses create floating objects, which I can confirm, looking at the handle of the wooden lid . . .
