Of course, it *only* opens up to f/3.5, but it can focus down to 30cm (with EVF/LV) - and was made over 60 years ago. I am again the only one to blame for the utter lack of creativity in the choice of subjects... M10 + 1956 Micro-Nikkor 50/3.5 LTM, wide open at or near MFD Welcome, dear visitor! It was hard to choose where to focus in this beautiful wall, therefore I set the focus ring to a hyperfocal distance. Portra 160 is great for fine details. The result was quite satisfying. Thanks for the comments! 1

Don't take it a negative way, I didn't imply your photo was out of focus. Edited June 30, 2020 by jaeger

This thread takes me forever to finish, I am only on page 67 this morning and came across this photo. I'm so curious about this one, where is this place? It seemed like a camera supermarket with so many vintage stuff all over the place. It's like a candy-shop to me, I wanna visit some days.

It's an annual camera fair (market) called Photographica that's held in the Horticultural Hall in London. It's run by The Photographic Collectors Club of Great Britain and the vendors set up trestle tables in rows for an 8 am start and prospective buyers walk around the tables drooling until 4.30 pm when Photographica closes for another year. It gets very, very busy during the day but there are bargains and rarities to found sometimes amongst the cast-offs. I tend to wait until later in the afternoon when much of the crowd has left, which is when I took this picture. Pete.
