Hello Pete, thanks for your kind words.

Nothing for discussion here, this is only for old glasses pics.

No out of topic.

A number of pictures do not show real attributes of the quoted lens in use. The subject often shows less photographic skill than a 'Point and Shoot' approach. I am thinking of pulling-out from this Forum. The quality in many pictures submitted has gone downhill.

Is the 90mm Elmar the f/4 silver ?

Are you referring to my picture with the 90mm Elmar?  If so it's the Elmar-C which is very cheap and one of my favourite lenses for my M9.

My original question got separated from the pictures. I was going through the age / history of my Leica lenses. My 28mm Hektor..73mm Hektor and 135mm Elmar are from the 1930's era, but my (90mm f/4 Elmar (silver) is more recent, about 1950's. Edited by Pablo8

Summaron 35/3.5 at f/5.6 on a "medium format" Fuji GF50R. The sensor is larger than full frame, and the corners vignette. Some crop and some anti-vignette in post, but not all of the vignette removed. So the shot serves more as an example of how the lens performs on a modern sensor.

My 35mm f/3.5 Summaron produces details as sharp on the Digital camera, as it did on my 111C body.

Thanks for the useful information , why don't you share a photo for a change ?

M10, Summarit-M 2.5/35mm (not so old but getting older and still "Classic rendering" )

almost same gentle rendering as my Summaron 35mm 3.5 or 2.8
