Damn. You're right! I went back and looked at the other shots I took that night and they were all with the 50 APO, so this must be also. Sorry for the confusion. I'd amend the original post in this thread, but it looks like I can't.

I didn't know the 50 APO could make such weird or "old fashioned" bokeh (for example the double rear part of the shoes in the background), but I don't know that lens very well, so you've surely right. I love the picture anyway. 😊

There was a really thick glass window between the lens and the shoes, which undoubtedly had some effect on the image. And I'll bet that window glass was "older" too... so on that basis, the image technically still fits the expectations for this thread! :lol:

Another lens experiment, I had a Nikon 100 f2.8 Series E lens. Used it when I first had it but not for several years, if I tried to sell it I might get $50. So it sits in a closet. on my CL
