Ecar Posted July 8, 2018 Share #4021 Posted July 8, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Quick handheld test of the dedicated Amedeo adapter with a couple of 50mm Voigtlander Prominent lenses, both wide open on the M10. For those who are interested, this adapter allows RF coupling and, unlike other adapters I have tried (and returned), works flawlessly across the focus range. Ecar Posted July 8, 2018 Share #4022 Posted July 8, 2018 The odd lens testing day with the M10 continues. Apologies for the super-boring pictures, but I'm trying to understand the character of these lenses. These are from a 1946 Kodak Ektar 47/2 converted to M mount with RF coupling. farnz Posted July 8, 2018 Author Share #4024 Posted July 8, 2018 (edited) . Not at all, Ecar, you're showing us some very unusual lenses and I am very grateful for that. Please keep posting them. Pete. Edited July 8, 2018 by farnz
Ecar Posted July 8, 2018 Share #4025 Posted July 8, 2018 Thanks, Pete. Of course, that was tongue-in-cheek. But for some silly family reason I got stranded at home today, so I started taking pictures in the garden. Hopefully not my best work, but some valuable findings - e.g., I need to put those Prominent lenses in front of interesting subjects more often...

Raid Amin Posted July 14, 2018 Share #4039 Posted July 14, 2018 (edited) 50/2.8 Xenon from a Retina camera, used on a Leica M8. Brian Sweeney modified the lens mount into M mount for me. It kept RF focus. It has low contrast. Edited July 14, 2018 by Raid Amin
romanus53 Posted July 14, 2018 Share #4040 Posted July 14, 2018 I liked the 2.8 Xenon more than the 2.0 and used it a lot, years ago when my Retina was alive. Good to see such gems still in use.
