farnz Posted May 3, 2015 Author Share #2384 Posted May 3, 2015 JM, Unfortunately the new software doesn't allow members to delete their own posts so the Mods have agreed to delete them if you 'Report' your post using the link at the bottom right hand side of your post and ask for it to be deleted. Pete. Thanks Pete for the quick answer and explanation. I find this is giving the Mods extra work. We should have the liberty to decide for ourselves, shouldn't we? Why give up control on our posted photos which we share as we please for a start ? Edited May 3, 2015 by jmanivelle
pop Posted May 3, 2015 Share #2386 Posted May 3, 2015 Thanks Pete for the quick answer and explanation. I find this is giving the Mods extra work. We should have the liberty to decide for ourselves, shouldn't we? Why give up control on our posted photos which we share as we please for a start ? That's very thoughtful of you and we're not actually looking for more work. However, seeing as it's not possible at the moment with the current incarnation of the software, that's how it's done. It's not much work, anyway.
ernst_leitz Posted May 5, 2015 Share #2387 Posted May 5, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I found more old stuff in the cupboard. Not been using it since the 70s. With LV on my M-P(240) and a Pentax Stereo Apater Set in front of my old Takumar 1.8/55 mm (M42 to LM adapter) I shot "the 3D portraits" of my 1936 IIIa below to be viewed "cross eyed". pop Posted May 14, 2015 Share #2395 Posted May 14, 2015 Had to repost ... The world we live in... by JM__, on Flickr Hopefully re-editing one's post will be in the next firmware... Editing your post is possible within the first hour after posting. Editing after that is most likely to lead to confusion; also, member who have seen the unedited post are not likely to revisit and to look at the edited post. Vanishing pictures are often seen - or rather, not seen - if they are linked to from external sites. That's one of the reason we would prefer members to post their pictures here.

Pete One black Rigid Summicron (less worn barrel, but hazy glass) recently sold here in Stockholm for 85 000 SEK (just over 10 000 USD)! So, be careful with it! My own copy of this lens is plain chrome, but the IQ is great: Welcome, dear visitor! Guest JMF Posted May 14, 2015 Share #2397 Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) Yes, elgenper, Black , silver or DR , same glass inside ! About rocket prices... there's a swedish auction site quite active with Leica gear I believe. Unrelated to this, the original owner of the Black rigid and M2 combo I am using was a swedish photographer ! One more recent shot with this 5cm Rigid on MM: Just passing by by JM__, on Flickr Cheers, JM. Edited May 14, 2015 by jmanivelle
