Lenshacker Posted December 19, 2014 Share #2267 Posted December 19, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is one of the earliest coated lenses, a 1938 5cm F1.5 Sonnar T, wide-open on the M9. It is made of the heavier allow used before the war, and is marked only to F11. Converted to Leica mount using a J-3 focus mount. Williamsburg I also have one from 1936 that is fully coated, but not marked with a "T".

Lenshacker Posted December 23, 2014 Share #2275 Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) Would you very kindly name the camera too please, Lenshacker? Pete. Apologies! I was using my Leica M9. I used a 1.25x magnifier with it, makes focusing much easier. This is the first time using the M9 at "ISO5000 equivalent", "ISO2500 -1ev" setting. My opinion- Leica could have put an ISO5000 setting in firmware with this camera. I've used the M8 with Arvid's M8RAW2DNG at ISO160 -4ev for ISO2500 equivalent, was very usable. Figured I could squeeze an extra stop from the M9. Edited December 23, 2014 by Lenshacker
