Al,

 

Any chance of your adding a l-camera-forum link to the thread where you've posted them to your post or letting us know the titled of your thread please? Alternately your most welcome to post them again in this thread.:)

Don't hold back! Honestly, the difference between using the lens wide open with its filter, and closed down (even half way), is enormous! And I haven't yet used the hood, which should make it much easier to keep the flare under control, when that's what is wanted.

 

The range of results possible from this single instrument can let one justify it like this: it's like having several lenses in one.

As I requested when I started this wonderful thread all those months ago, please keep to the forum's rules, which stipulate that either the camera or the lens (or both) must be made by Leica.

 

Now that that's out of the way, that's a very unusual combination that produces very interesting results.

Sorry and excuse me. I wanted to show the differences between the Thambar and the Imagon. It s the first and last time i did not keep the forum's rules.
