35mm is not the optimal focal length for air to air,

and Cessna plexiglas is a photographers nigthmare.,

The meet was not planned and you have to use, what you have (on board).

The picture is a aprox 25% crop out of the original picture.

M9 with Canon 35 2,8 LTM 1953 vintage.

By the way: SE-XXM is a Rans RV8.

M9-P with a Leica 50mm Summicron collapsible (from 1955) Nice lens, although the high contrast lovers amongst us will probably not be happy as the lens is not very contrasty.

Leica M6TTL BP - 90 Elmarit-M - Kodak Gold 200

The Elmarit-M never ceases to amaze me. This was shot at f8 and only very slight sharpening has been applied to the scan (Coolscan 9000). Have a look at the original scan size - there's a lot of detail.

Cheers

Philip

True, but you can always add some in post-processing. I'm always amazed at how well this lens performs for its age. Good copies with clean glass are hard to find (and almost invariably require a proper CLA), but definitely a classic worth having in one's collection.

Believe this lens should be a projector lens or might be an place to order lens made by Cooke but with Kodak name on it. Since there is very little information about this lens and it could be a cinima lens too. @@

I had it modified to M mount. Here is the look of this lens.
