Cheers, Jeff,

I think you are a fortunate man on many levels. Thanks for sharing some of your fortune with us.:) (I can almost taste the Haut Brion.)

Pete.

Pete, looking great! Please share more info and photos of and from this lens:

"Coated 1947 Carl Zeiss Jena 85/2 Sonnar in LTM"

Here you go, Dirk.:)

I've always been impressed with the 15 aperture blades giving a perfect circle that I feel sure contributes to its characteristically (imho) beautiful rendering of out of focus areas. The knobbly black, circular apparatus around its midriff is a "Steer" made by Leicagoodies that helps with a slightly heavy focus ring.

Taken with Leica 28-90/2.0-2.4 Vario Summicron on Digilux 2, which qualifies as older glass in its own right.:)

Pete.

Sorry Pete....it's getting late here...didn't read your all your question.....it's DaVinci Resolve. @@

Apologize for my ignorance, but I would understand that this is a software for the sake of video color correction. How did you use it with pictures?

I'm interested because I saw that there's a free version which also runs under Linux and the results it gave with your pictures are quite pleasant indeed.

Thanks in advance,

Bruno

Love the camel shot, Jacques! Where was it taken?

thanks! took that on Sunday at a place called Victor Harbour- here in South Australia. The camels are on the beach for $10 joy rides... though it looks like it could be somewhere exotic- it is actually quite a mundane place... (to me at least)
