Ok, this is a tricky one:

- in photo: Leica Mono + 8.5cm ƒ1.5 Nikkor LTM and 3.5cm ƒ1.8 Nikkor LTM

- first and second photo shot with Graflex Crown Graphic + Fuji ISO3200 instant film

- last photo shot Nikon D3 + 60/2.8 Micro + SB900 (my "scanner")

All lenses, involved are clearly not in production anymore and are preferred by me over their contemporary samples.

I love the Nikkors and slowly am warming up on the 147mm 4.7 lens on my Graphic ;-)

This morning, checking the rangefinder of the 4x5:

Haha - no, I am just 4x5 shooting for tryouts - curiosity, but certainly not serious.

I have no patience for the legged cameras, so handheld press cameras are what I am interested in.

Just got myself my second Graflex with a very, very interesting lens … but as neither item is connected to the Leica forum, I will not tell - hehe!

I'm new to this (old) game. Well actually I'm not, but my glass is! ;)

I've had my 'new' 111f and 50/2.0 Summitar a couple of weeks now and am blown away by it overall. Now that I have 'mastered' loading it I can produce some of my first images. The two following are of a girl I meet regularly on the beach whilst walking the dog. The second image is SEVERELY underdeveloped, my fault using wrong film dev dilution combo. However it scanned enough to see an image that was worth capturing but not easily printable. The neg is nearly totally clear! Hence the poor technical quality. For me, her hair makes the pic worthwhile. Both are grab shots.

At another time I will post some other images and some colour.
