You can see where they fit the plug over the battery compartment that converts the MP chassis into an M-A. There is an image of an MP classic on the web with the grip off showing a fitted plug, but this removes all of my doubt. Plus there's all sorts of other details for lookens peepens. No secret there, there are images posted on this forum that clearly show some M-A cameras have developed a visible depression in the outer covering where the battery compartment for an MP or M6 has been blanked off underneath.
