Just kidding, get the 35 FLE or a wider option as 28 1.4 for creamy bokeh.

None. Seriously.

As soon as you get more lenses you will be asking about more bags in which to drag them all about. Then, when you are about to travel, you will ask about which two or three of the three or more lenses you have acquired should go with you. Then you will spend your holidays confused about whether you should be sticking with the lens you have mounted, or one of the two or three in your new bag.

Do yourself a favour. Don't buy anything except a comfortable strap and loads of film. Then you will be showing us your brilliant photos from a lens you have mastered and taken all over the globe with the money you saved by not buying more lenses.

I wish I had been given this advice 10 years ago, and listened to it. I would be a better photographer and have more experiences to treasure.

Don't let this be you!

IMO, YMMV, etc.

Cheers,

J :)

28mm summicron asph &  50 summilux asph will cover most things and you could add a 90mm elmarit-M f2.8, which is cheap enough in Leica currency to round off a good three lens kit.  All share the same 46mm filter thread.

Same applies to a more compact kit of 28mm elmarit-m asph & 50mm summicron or 50mm elmar-m with a 90mm elmar-m, which all share the 39mm filter thread and would be my preference for travel.  Less weight and more room for film!

Well, do you need another lens? Why not spend the money on travel or something.. not all need more than one lens. And especially since you don't seem to know what you need, I'm thinking you don't need [emoji16]

Keep the money until you know or spend it on something else [emoji106]
