Whenever the new M arrives, who's going to buy one?

For me changing isos has become a normal way of exposure when i have not enough light for the intended aperture and shutter speed. Typically to shoot at children indoor when i have no f/1.4 lens handy. Auto iso works fine normally but above its limits i may need to crank up some dial. Don't ask me to do it with my left fingers then they are busy trying to focus those little moving things for the posterity.

Agree.  At that point you would need to take the camera away from your eye and by then might as well just use the back screen. Seems like an odd place for an ISO dial.

Unless, we can learn to turn the dial with our left ear.   :p

I don't change ISO that much, but a wheel showing the ISO value set is a good idea IMHO.

The top left side of the camera is a strange place for a control, but I don't use it very often, so no problem.

Exposure compensation is different (for me): I use and adjust that much more often, and I need the control at the right side, in a more ergonomic or reachable position.

What about voice command... that would be a nice new feature for the geeks !!!

Hold on... you got really nice idea here. ALL the buttons on M body can be removed (iPhone style). Just whisper you command while focusing. Patent it. Quick.

Whisper, "Turn on Auto. Enable Decisive Moment Indicator".

Ah, well I have my daughter with me, so I made Fluffy Buttermilk Raspberry Pancakes, which we had with marscapone, maple syrup and bacon.

Pedant alert....pet peeve....mascarpone, not marscapone.  [Mascar....rhymes with NASCAR]

My other one is turmeric, not tumeric. [Turr, not tooo ]

I hear these mispronounced in conversation about 90% of the time, including folks who specialize in selling them!

Breakfast does sound delicious.

Jeff
