I don't mind posting a photo of my M240-P with the 50mm Summilux Aspheric  lens............a fine and very effective combination, but would love to know why you want to see photos of just a specific focal length lens.

Enjoy !

Hi there. This thread is just convincing me to get a Summilux. I am waiting for a lens to be forwarded from a dealer but I'm not sure if it's a mk1 or mk2. It's to be used on my Monochrom as alternative to my Tri Elmar, at 50mm, as I want to be able to really separate out the subject. Is there really a huge difference in image quality between the lenses at 1.4, 2.0 etc? I hope it's a mk2 but won't know till it arrives. All I know it's chrome and in great condition. I really am indulging myself as I have a 75mm Summilux as well but it's a big lens to have all the time in my pocket. Regards Robin.

The v2 has the edge in contrast, especially wide open. I have a v1, and find it to be a fine lens, contrary to the critical comments you find on the Web.
