Yes, I miss the beautiful rendering and its close-up ability. I hope one day I get the opportunity to buy it back.

It is a very unique and beautiful lens ,, take the plunge while the prices are relatively still good. I have a feeling they are going to jump soon like the 35 pre asph did

I had to choose between the lens and my car …

… sometimes one wants to take nice photos but then life kicks in🤯. Compared to most other camera gear Leica stuff is obscenely expensive. So, I think it’s very reasonable to sell a lens or a body if it helps to keep oneself and one’s family warm and safe. In the end it’s just toys for grownups😉.

I sold it just because I needed the money. 😢

Yes I know that, I’m an experience expert 😁  I own my third now. The PITA is that you pay so much more a few years later.

I had the second version (Canada). If I buy it again I probably don't care if it is v2 or v3.

All the versions are the same optically absolutely no difference at all. And if I am not mistaken ,,, every one of them were made in Canada just the few last batch were assembled and packaged in Slomes with the six bit code mount .. best buys are the V2 with the built in hood hovering around 3500-4000 us

Oh my, if I had been fortunate enough to have taken this beautiful picture I would enlarge it to 60"wX40"t lit from above. It looks a lot like Mark Rothko painting. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you, you are too kind. My aim is to buy a printer when it is in stock and start living with a few prints around the house.
