Advertisement Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Hi Dirk Van der Herten, Take a look here Amanita muscaria. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
fotografr Posted November 6, 2016 Share #2 Posted November 6, 2016 Those are very impressive specimens. I've seen quite a number of these mushrooms around my property in northern Michigan but never any more beautiful than these. Great find and very nicely photographed. Dirk Van der Herten Posted November 6, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted November 6, 2016 This one was just too beautiful not to photograph it, in a natural reserve in northern Belgium. Thank you for your comment.

Michael Geschlecht Posted November 7, 2016 Share #9 Posted November 7, 2016 Hello Everybody, Nice photos all. Did anyone think of putting their photos in the "for Pilzlovers" Thread in the "Tier & Natur" Section in the German part of the Forum. Lots of photos of mushrooms. A number of of the photos there are photos of varitieties of Amanita. Many of which are poisonous. Best Regards, Michael

david strachan Posted November 8, 2016 Share #11 Posted November 8, 2016 We used to find them growing around pine tree areas. Looks like pine needles in the images?? I brought one home and spread it around our garden...some popped up a year or so later. cheers..
