I do not know whether you have heard it, but there are really some guys who try to "blackwhiten" a Portra to mimic a b/w shot? Thats why I really appreciate the Portra 400 color film 😉😉 Thanks, Marc. Yes, I am aware of such indiscretions and how the people who commit them will confide their evil ways only to their most close and trusted film friends. fotografr Posted January 7, 2019 Share #350 Posted January 7, 2019 (edited) Absolutely first rate street shooting. Book worthy, in my opinion--even though books are a tough sell these days. In more than 15 years as a forum member I can't recall ever seeing a more engrossing, interesting and technically superb series. At the very least, I would think a gallery would love to hang a selection from this project. Edited January 10, 2019 by fotografr
nutmeg Posted January 10, 2019 Share #351 Posted January 10, 2019 Great serie!!! May I ask how you protect your camera from the snow?

A fascinating photograph, not only the attitude of the lady and the surrounding conditions but especially the building in the background and the interaction with the street signs. Inspired.

I try my best to keep my camera tucked into my coat when I am not using it. But I do not shoot from a covered spot; rather, I got out in the middle of the mess and - knock on wood - my camera and lens handle it pretty well. 🤞

That one has been hanging around in my pile for 5 years or so and I finally took it out for some daylight as I think I may not be the only one who might be drawn to it
