Ha ha, good memory, Stuart.  This particular lady was actually angry at the weather, motoring through it and cursing all the way down the street.

You brought up a great memory, though, of this guy that we encountered one summer morning in Times Square.  A total "hit and run"  - I felt so violated!   :

Even for a New Yorker you are not risk-adverse at all: steel coil spring built and that nose...lucky you!

Regarding your NYC SnowBlizzard Photographs - have you aimed at a bigger audience than us? Serious! If you'd qualify (as an amateur ?who you are?) at least for

you'd be a contender.

Thanks, Simon.   I maintain an online gallery of my NYC snow blizzards project (https://www.adammiller.nyc/portfolio/G0000HCS6pwDBP04), sell prints from time to time and license some photos to local NYC media outlets.  But I have not spent much energy on a grand scale exhibition.  I am lazy in this regard! I appreciate the food for thought regarding the contest.  Keep in touch!

I'm surprised how you were able to keep lens clean enough in the middle of all of this.

I tuck it into my coat and when in use the G-d awful ugly giant lens hood for the 28 elmarit pre-asph (same as what comes with the cron) comes in extremely handy.  And them I have a microfiber cloth with me for a wipe down every 15 mins or so.  I've got it covered.... :)

Of all your fine shots, my personal favorite is no.264 for both its simplicity and dynamic composure.  just love the way the thrust out newspaper seems to dominate the attention.

Thanks, very much, sincerely appreciate your comment.  Yeah, I love how it is tucked neatly and dry and ready to read in the midst of nearly 100% precipitation all around :)

Yes photo 264 certainly draws a fine picture, the diving snow directing the eye and the brave figure protecting his paper. It's a deceptively simple photo, but dynamic and memorable.
