Keep 'em coming excellent series!

You seem to have a collection of Leica film bodies, a III, M3, M7, MA, maybe more. Why so many may I ask?

You're right, even with my sophisticated rationalization i have one film M more than i need :)

Here's my schpiel:

-i have a IIIg bc everyone should have one - and it was "only" $700 :)

-my M3 was my first love and is a piece of history with THE best VF for 50mm

-my M-A is my favorite - the real deal

-and then comes the M7. Bought it cheap for the high speed shutter (HSS) feature. But then realized that a regular flash works just fine for my purposes. I don't use the internal meter. So I don't really use all of the features and I honestly don't really need the camera. This is the one that I would sell if I wasn't so lazy :)

Amazing work. I walked some of the same streets during that storm, so am particularly inspired by what you managed to make of it.

Yet another great one Adam. It is that daily need to read the news which has made this woman get dressed and leave her abode in such conditions. She is looking at you, the voyeur, and saying "Well I know why the hell I am mad, but why are you?"

I didn't comment on this, and I should have. I love the diagonal streaks of yellow and the echoes of the red running from the cube to the umbrella to the jacket. No one can plan these things, but a great photographer can capture them without even noticing until after the instance. Oh, and the NYC on the jacket is the icing on the cake. I would love to know what your out-take rate is.

Thanks a lot, m0n0.  Let's get together the next time you are in town...

Many thanks for the close look, Gerry.  I was able to shoot 2.5 rolls the morning of last month's blizzard in a span of about 3 hours.  After shooting extensively in blizzards for the past 3 years, I have somewhat fine tuned my workflow which has helped me get a much higher hit rate.

The bull shot is great with a wonderful perspective, but the great face is outstanding. I would love to know what was going on? Both are wonderful work, but then we have come to expect that from you.

Many thanks, Charles, Rodrigue and Gerry.

Charles - My guess is that the woman didn't see me and she was probably barely able to see in front of her and was much more focused on not tripping than paying attention to me.

The wind was really strong and the snow was flying horizontally; it was blinding her so she was trying to compensate...

You have this innate ability to pick up a colour theme through your image, such as the green here. Things are happening too quickly, and in such poor conditions, for this to be intentional but it is certainly there as in the green here on the window and the bag handles.

Thanks, Gerry.  You are right, pure happenstance :)

What isn't so much luck is the capturing of the snow flakes zipping horizontally like comets.  These are my favorite and I'd like to try to get more of these.
