divero Posted October 23, 2016 Share #1 Posted October 23, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello I am new on forum and I would like to ask you if there are any information about new model of Leica D-lux, because on Septembers' Photokina they didn't talk about it. Regarding previous releases they are introducing new models every two years. And latest model typ 109 was released in November 2014. Any ideas? Thanks, A
Advertisement Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Hi divero, Take a look here New Leica D-lux. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lct Posted October 24, 2016 Share #2 Posted October 24, 2016 Welcome to the forum. The current D-Lux is a clone of the Panasonic LX100 as you know. It will be replaced when the rumored LX200 will be launched most probably. See http://thenewcamera.com/tag/panasonic-lx200/
Weltraumpräsident Posted October 24, 2016 Share #3 Posted October 24, 2016 (edited) The rumors are out-dated as they are talking about end of august. It is not sure that we ever will see the LX200. dhsimmonds Posted October 24, 2016 Share #4 Posted October 24, 2016 The LX15 was announced during Photokina which is when most new models appear. However many of the Japanese camera manufacturers were badly affected by a recent earthquake resulting in a number of expected new models not appearing at Photokina despite optimistic forecasts. lct Posted October 24, 2016 Share #5 Posted October 24, 2016 The LX15 i'm aware of has a 1" sensor (https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasonic-lumix-dmc-lx10-lx15-first-impressions-review). Hard to believe that LX100 won't have a successor.
rjans Posted October 29, 2016 Share #6 Posted October 29, 2016 Strange situation, no succesor for the LX100 (Leica D Lux) and the LF-1 (Leica C). Is this a sign of the end of compact cameras? Or perhaps delays due to the earthquacke in Japan? Regards

Roger Pellegrini Posted December 9, 2016 Share #8 Posted December 9, 2016 I hope a new model is released. My current D-Lux has definite issues that cannot seem to be cured -- especially with the autofocus.
Guest Posted February 26, 2017 Share #9 Posted February 26, 2017 Strange situation, no succesor for the LX100 (Leica D Lux) and the LF-1 (Leica C). Is this a sign of the end of compact cameras? Or perhaps delays due to the earthquacke in Japan? Regards Possibly the LX 100 is still selling in big enough numbers not to warrant a replacement yet. Remember the LX 100. Is half the price of the Dlux 109 and has been very successful will few problems. No real need to change it just yet.
