I get a lovely gooey, smeared dark purple vignette with this lens. Even more fun, I find it asymmetric depending on where the light is coming from. Really cool. But I like it more in B and W. That's why a lens’ vignetting should be considered when thinking about the EI (exposure index). The difference between the centre of a photo and the corner can be up to 2 stops, depending on the lens. It’s best practice to reduce the EI by 1 stop compared to box speed.
