ramarren Posted October 16, 2016 Share #22 Posted October 16, 2016 My photo history runs back to 1965 and a Kodak Brownie Starmite that my father bought me. Since then, I've owned and used literally dozens of different cameras—I can't remember them all. Even just the digital cameras starting in 1998 escape me. A major theme of brands for me has been Rolleiflex, Minox, Hasselblad, Nikon, and Leica. But I've owned and used quite a number of others as well. R6M6 Posted October 16, 2016 Share #24 Posted October 16, 2016 My history starts at ten in 1962 with a Voigtländer Vitoret to understand aperture, ASA & time and to estimate distance. The camera initiated an intensiv darkroom period. My dreams were the Prominent, Bessamatic and Vito CD at this time - now I own them all and used them at least once. In 1975 I bought my first own Leica - a M2. Then a CL for business trips and a Minox GT. Then a R4S2, a R3 and finally a R6.2. By chance I bought for a sensational price a M6 in 2006 and the love for RF came back. Now in use are a M9, a M7 and the M6 (for B&W). In between I bought because of GAS a Minox LX, a Seagull Rolleiflex copy and some Braun Paxette and Super Paxette. A gift from my colleagues at my retiring party was a SL2. My son just gave me an Instax - lot of fun during dinners with friends! So, I hope some interesting cameras will still cross my way
