1. DNG only mode added

DNG is now available as a separate mode (besides JPG and DNG+JPG).

I'm curious as to how this affects wifi image transfer through the Leica Q app - will it convert to JPG on the fly or allow DNG transfer?

If it's like the other cameras I've used that have this feature, it simply will not work if all you have are DNG.  Just like today, you just don't see the DNGs that exist...

I was thrilled to see an updated (22/07/2016) manual available: http://en.leica-camera.com/Service-Support/Support/Downloads?category=124335&subcategory=&type=&language=all

BUT it does not appear to address Firmware 2.0.

Indeed a bit bizarre to bring out an updated manual, and then not have the newest firmware intregrated (for instance it still mentions only JPG and JPG+DNG as options, etc.)

Wise remark.

Many people have been complaining for the lack of DNG "tether", although I definitely don't (having experienced the ultra-slow transferts one gets via Eye-Fi cards in that config, not to speak of the battery drain after 1/2h backup)

No, it does use the DNG internal JPEG that is transferred to the Leica Q App.

Not true. You can view and transfer DNGs with the Q app today.
