katsanes #21 Posted July 22, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) 1. DNG only mode added DNG is now available as a separate mode (besides JPG and DNG+JPG). I'm curious as to how this affects wifi image transfer through the Leica Q app - will it convert to JPG on the fly or allow DNG transfer? If it's like the other cameras I've used that have this feature, it simply will not work if all you have are DNG. Just like today, you just don't see the DNGs that exist... katsanes #22 Posted July 22, 2016 12. Three modes available for the thumbwheel (Off / AUTO / Exp. Comp.) What is the AUTO referencing here? Auto Exposure Compensation I'd assume... 1 Mr.Q reacted to this
sumolux #23 Posted July 22, 2016 I was thrilled to see an updated (22/07/2016) manual available: http://en.leica-camera.com/Service-Support/Support/Downloads?category=124335&subcategory=&type=&language=all BUT it does not appear to address Firmware 2.0. Indeed a bit bizarre to bring out an updated manual, and then not have the newest firmware intregrated (for instance it still mentions only JPG and JPG+DNG as options, etc.)

Many people have been complaining for the lack of DNG "tether", although I definitely don't (having experienced the ultra-slow transferts one gets via Eye-Fi cards in that config, not to speak of the battery drain after 1/2h backup)

fcomarin69 #28 Posted July 24, 2016 I may not read correctly either the user manual or the forum but still not a way to switch off the noise reduction function? It will only add a countdown?
