Nick Bedford Posted July 24, 2016 Share #41 Posted July 24, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) And the shutter compared to the 240 is lovely. More like a smooth CHHHNK.
Advertisement Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Hi Nick Bedford, Take a look here I love my M-D 262. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Eastgreenlander Posted August 5, 2016 Share #42 Posted August 5, 2016 I've been saving up for a monochrom but then this camera came out. I don't regret getting the M-D instead. Love it!
ramarren Posted August 7, 2016 Share #43 Posted August 7, 2016 I had put an order in for an MM246 in Spring 2015. After several months and no product, I cancelled the order and used that money to buy the SL instead. No regrets at all; I already had an M-P. When the M-D was announced, it piqued my interest just like the M Edition 60 had. After a short time I couldn't resist it, bought it, and am delighted I did so. Leica M-D + M-Rokkor 90mm f/4 ISO 320 @ f/5.6 @ 1/1000 It just suits me.
Guest Posted August 9, 2016 Share #44 Posted August 9, 2016 Thorsten and Godfrey .... Just a question .... When I was using film Ms it seemed like the back rotating Iso setting was always getting askew ... How is it with the M-D? Bob
BITEMEDEA Posted August 9, 2016 Share #45 Posted August 9, 2016 No screen is great! When I glance for the LCD, "Don't text and drive" goes thru my mind. I didn't think about the fact that I can't delete my images as I go.

With the M-D, it's nicely weighted click stops, holds position securely until you change it.
Budfox Posted August 12, 2016 Share #47 Posted August 12, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) The ISO on the M60 and M-D are identical. If anything it is a little tight. Very low risk of accidental movement.
Overgaard Posted August 12, 2016 Author Share #48 Posted August 12, 2016 Yes, my ISO haven't changed by accident at all. I check because I expect the dial to be looser over time. But no, it hasn't moved at all by accident.
