for the 2004 Superbowl Houston had to find a way to connect the stadium to the downtown hotels and finally built a light rail line

the folks here resisted light rail, as they prize the indepedence of their cars, but they have taken a liking to it and the system will be expanding, faster than I would have thought

this station is a favorite of mine and fortunately is on my way to work (I drive as there is no light rail near my home)

I have a larger version here (the detail rendered by the M8 never ceases to amaze me) along with other images and shooting information
