bags27 Posted August 1, 2018 Share #1041 Posted August 1, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) They're terrific, Dan. Living close to the water myself, I know how hard it is, especially in the "golden hours" when the winds are strongest via convergence. Chatham is quite beautiful. We'll be in Truro briefly much later in August. Enjoy!

Leica Guy Posted August 2, 2018 Share #1045 Posted August 2, 2018 Now for my next opportunity to make this great camera even better. Thanks to Merlin the Demitris I now can view macro liveview images magnified. I have noticed that as soon as you start pressing the shutter the liveview image reverts back to unmagnified. It would be so nice if it stayed magnified so you can watch movement and then trip the shutter exactly when all is still. I’m in manual focus so the camera does not need to focus. I’m also in full manual mode.
zampelis Posted August 4, 2018 Share #1046 Posted August 4, 2018 Amazing shots Dan! I am glad that this tip will help you! I wish there was an option on the menu, to allow you to take a shot when half pressing the shutter button when you are in manual screen zoom mode! They are seed pods of Southern Magnolia. http://midatlanticgardening.com/plant-profile-southern-magnolia-magnolia-grandiflora/ definitely it, Dimitris! Thanks. Yes, the leaves were certainly Magnolia now that I think about it. Amazing that so beautiful a flower results from so weird a pod.
