Some forii reduce automatically uploads to the right size, here no, you have to do it previously, that is why I do not post more, and I think I am not the only lazy one! Could this issue be improved?

Not so much lazy, Lucena, just looking for ease of use. It would be super convenient but if you are a Lightroom user it is easy to set up an export preset that ensures you keep within the 500MB limit.

I am a PS user but not a fan of editing. I know how to make it, but this means opening the app, importing the file, reduce and save. I know it does not take much time, but it is annoying. Specially nowadays with technology I think the site could implement automatic reduction to their size...it would be an incentive to post.

Fair point.

But if you are not a LR user then it is a royal pain in the @ss.

Christmas Cactus, Schlumbergera bridgessii, in white this time. It's the season. 1/500, f/8.0, ISO 100. I used my Canon MR-14 EX II Macro Ring Flash on manual at 1/128 power for just a little extra light. I also placed a cardboard background behind the flower that I printed an out of focus green scene on in anticipation of using it as a background. I use the same background to photograph hummingbirds in the summer.

Anyone else photograph Christmas ornaments? These are just a few of the hundreds my wife has collected over the years. Our tree is decorated very esoterically.
