Iduna Posted March 14, 2016 Author Share #9  Posted March 14, 2016 John, your nice comment is much appreciated, thank you. Specially your comment on no 1 is interesting, because I thought the blurred treetops in the backdrop might have been a little disturbing.  Dee, yes, they are a daily pleasure and a challenge for photography if one doesn't want to make certain arrangements and use reflectors. I wanted here to use tha available light only and see what the lens can do. Thanks a lot for your comment.  Louis, yes, you are right about the colours. They came out in spite of the darker light there. The lens is superb. I am delioghted that you like the pictures.  Stuart, thanks, you go the the colours and ou are right, those are more significant.  Bill, many thanks for stopping by. The camera and its lens are most versatile but one has to think how it works best. If those two studies are accepted I am very happy and feel encouraged.   war, thank you so much for your encouraging words.

david strachan Posted March 18, 2016 Share #13 Â Posted March 18, 2016 Lovely flower close-ups Iduna. The "Q and You" work so well. Â If I can just be irritatingly picky, as we do...with close ups and macro, the background is everything IMO. I know you love Dee's work...she seems to do it so effortlessly. Â The depth of focus in the flower bunches is perfect I reckon. And there's no need to talk of the Leica lens quality here. Â all the best Dave S
Iduna Posted March 18, 2016 Author Share #14 Â Posted March 18, 2016 Dave, Â Thank you very much for your encouraging words. I am still surprised about the potential of these lenses and that we have to take it as a challenge to meet their level. I have also very good Canon lenses but I use them when the subject requires a different look. It is another world and cannot be compared. Â Have a nice weekend!
