Manoleica Posted February 10, 2016 Share #2 Posted February 10, 2016 Anyone still using original Digilux 1 ? dfdann Are you talking about the Fuji/Leica or the Leica?
dfdann Posted February 11, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted February 11, 2016 The Leica. It is what started me down the slippery slope of Leica ownership to a M-7,M-8, 3 Chrons, and a Leica C for travel. I have not used the Digillux in years but still have it. Dan
lct Posted February 12, 2016 Share #4 Posted February 12, 2016 I still have it as well but don't use it anymore since the arrival of its Japanese grand child Panasonic LX100. Welcome, dear visitor! dfdann Posted February 12, 2016 Author Share #5 Posted February 12, 2016 How do you like the LX100? I am quite happy with my Leica c which also has a Panasonic counterpart. Dan
lct Posted February 12, 2016 Share #6 Posted February 12, 2016 I have no experience with the C (112 i guess) but the LX100 was the compact camera i was waiting for since the Digilux 1. Small, fast, silent, great image quality at close to medium distance, it shows a bit of Seurat effect a long distance but less so that the D1 fortunately and much less noise and more isos needless to say. Also with a fast lens and a larger sensor, optical blur can be achieved rather easily. Nice and easy raw conversion with C1.
Antonio Madureira Posted February 13, 2016 Share #7 Posted February 13, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Anyone still using original Digilux 1 ? dfdann Certainly I use my Digilux 1! It has been idle for at least five years, but with new batteries it is now as new, and for it's only four megapixels sensor it is very very good, and behaves as a big one. Here it is with it's accessories, (I love acessoires...) Regards Welcome, dear visitor!
