Northwest Wanderer Posted January 17, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted January 17, 2016 terrific, and i know (hope) this is not your last eagle post. Thank you Stuart. As you know, I'm a real lover of these great birds. I'd really like to take some good flight images but I've not been very lucky doing that this season. To me that is part of the joy of photography. We never stop trying to take that special image we have seen only in our mind. Cheers

david strachan Posted January 18, 2016 Share #7 Posted January 18, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Bill, I've been enjoying your Eagle pictures. You capture them well with the new V Lux ( I have the V Lux 4). A good birding camera. Like the way the Eagles look so "bad tempered"...anthropogenic interpretation, of course. Keep it up...a nice photographic goal. cheers Dave S
Northwest Wanderer Posted January 18, 2016 Author Share #8 Posted January 18, 2016 Dave, I've been photographing eagles for the past 12 years. They migrate thru my area from mid Nov. until mid Jan. in general. We have resident eagles but not in the number of the migrating birds. I've used the V Lux 4 for many of my bird images. It is a fine camera for bird photography. The V Lux 114 is much the same. I'm still learning to how to take advantage of the features these V Lux cameras offer.
