@McLeica Posted January 21, 2016 Share #22 Posted January 21, 2016 Nearly fell off my chair when I saw Flu's collection! But hey, you only have one pair of hands. Film on the left and digital on the right. 50mm and 28mm. Ready to go in a moment. My wife assures me I need not feel inadequate in any way Welcome, dear visitor! scott kirkpatrick Posted January 21, 2016 Share #23 Posted January 21, 2016 Here's a quick shot of the rest of the family. I've already posted one of my SL with its 80 Summilux-R. This shot was taken with the SL and a Super-Elmarit-R 15 at ISO 3200, f/8, 1/6 sec (using a monopod): L1010283 by scott kirkpatrick, on Flickr On the left is a Domke F5 bag that normally holds 2 M240s one with the Summilux 28 M and the other (in back) with the Super-Elmar 21 M, five more lenses and stuff. In the middle are two R lenses (60 macro Elmarit-R and 80 SX-R) and on the right behind is an M9 with 28 Summicron M. Front right is an M8 with some M8-ish lenses, the 28 Elmarit-asph M, a Zeiss Biogon 21 and a Voightlaender 21. In front is my M2 with some M2-ish lenses. A Canon 19/3.5 (with viewfinder on top of the camera, Canon 35/2.0 and collapsible Summicron 50. I almost forgot. I didn't have room on the table to include the APO-Elmarit 180 and the APO-Telyt 280 /4.0. scott
Abram Posted January 22, 2016 Share #24 Posted January 22, 2016 I think this is my favorite setup . Is that a Q on the right? I'm usually using a similar setup but with a 240 and 28 Summicron, but I sure do want a Q, it's about the only digital camera that's come out to really excite me in a long while. Abram Posted January 22, 2016 Share #26 Posted January 22, 2016 Leica M kit by Abram Goglanian, on Flickr Alright here's my kit. I didn't feel like making it all pretty, it's just all in my bag as it gets used. I've got an M240 and MP, both a little rough around the edges from use (the MP came to me that way and I love it, I'm just going to continue its use). And my lenses are a summicron set, 28/35/50. I rarely take all three at once. I usually pair a 28 with a 50mm, or I take the 35mm alone if I'm just taking one of the cameras. If I get a 90mm again in the future I usually pair that with the 35mm. My bag is from Filson, it's the Harvey messenger (so-designed by David Alan Harvey). Yup, Q on the right and a Zeiss Ikon ZM with a 50mm 'Cron. Stop gap till I find the right M7. Slow and fast, but both excellent cameras. And, oddly enough, just like you I usually just dump this insert into a Filson 72hr bag and I'm ready to go.
Tailwagger Posted January 24, 2016 Share #28 Posted January 24, 2016 This was absolutely not my intention of the thread, and I'm very sorry if it got interpreted in that way. It was purely (and honestly) intended as a celebration to gear. Frankly, I think the photos of these larger collections do us with more modest amounts of gear a tremendous service. Keep them coming, the more the better. I fully intend to use them as a part of my defense the next time I get that look from my better half as she eyes an unexpected package from B&H. Mornnb Posted January 29, 2016 Share #30 Posted January 29, 2016 Current setup, sorry for the pic quality. I shoot a variety of things such as portraits, events, architecture and landscape with this family, so need a full set of focal lengths. Hope to add a 50mm APO to it once I finish paying off the newer member, the Tri-Elmar. Plus a 12mm Voitglander.
