Herr Barnack Posted January 6, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 6, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hard Graft has created an interesting camera bag for M cameras: https://www.hardgraft.com/products/takecameracoal?utm_source=Hard+Graft+Members+Club&utm_campaign=19992551af-Track06%2F01%2F16&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_614b193797-19992551af-334762673&mc_cid=19992551af&mc_eid=12ee9ac8a2 I like the design (not the #1 choice for rainy environments, though) but it appears to be rather costly for its size and features. Thoughts?

LocalHero1953 Posted January 6, 2016 Share #2 Posted January 6, 2016 Not weatherproof enough for outdoors. Not padded enough for indoors. Looks nice!
Guest Her Berger Posted January 6, 2016 Share #3 Posted January 6, 2016 I like the Hard Graft Stuff; i have a tilt case for my iPad.Great material, great craftmanship - like my film Leica it looks better with agesBut this bag for a Leica (or whatever) is bullshit. Its useless. No space for a second glass, no paddings, no space for nothin'just my cup of tea

Herr Barnack Posted January 10, 2016 Author Share #7 Posted January 10, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) what features? Well, to be fair - it does have a nice gap in the top closure that will let in copious amounts of water if you are caught in a downpour. This may seem like a drawback, but it is actually a benefit; your camera and lens will always be freshly washed and looking their best.
earleygallery Posted January 10, 2016 Share #8 Posted January 10, 2016 The main problem is that it looks like a ladies handbag.
fotoism Posted January 10, 2016 Share #9 Posted January 10, 2016 Inspired by the designer's wife/girl friend (if male), or the designer's own personal wardrobe (if female)?
Gibbo Posted January 10, 2016 Share #10 Posted January 10, 2016 Which may not be a problem for a lady wanting a camera bag that looks like a handbag.

pico Posted January 10, 2016 Share #12 Posted January 10, 2016 The main problem is that it looks like a ladies handbag. Yes. I'm waiting for a camera bag that looks like a bowling bowl case. Until then, I'll stick to this.
Herr Barnack Posted January 13, 2016 Author Share #13 Posted January 13, 2016 Yes. I'm waiting for a camera bag that looks like a bowling bowl case. Until then, I'll stick to this. It must not rain much where you live...
M9reno Posted January 13, 2016 Share #14 Posted January 13, 2016 Bless Leica and the little cottage-industry of pretentious and over-priced leather goods it has spawned.
epand56 Posted January 22, 2016 Share #15 Posted January 22, 2016 I think it's horrible, looks like my aunt's old bag. And looks like it gives no protection at all should it fall on the floor or slam on some obstacle.I'll stick with my Ona bag
sc_rufctr Posted January 23, 2016 Share #16 Posted January 23, 2016 Sorry but... That looks like a bag my mother takes to church with her. IMO Men shouldn't carry leather bags. They just look too feminine
plasticman Posted January 23, 2016 Share #17 Posted January 23, 2016 I could definitely use this bag if: - the top flipped over to give more protection from the elements and pickpockets - it was at least a tiny bit bigger, to have the chance of putting more in it than just one camera (at least space for a film and/or light meter thanks) - it cost max 1/3 of that incredible price Don't see why so many men appear to be so insecure about carrying a bag that looks vaguely feminine? If you're scared people will mistake you for a lady, grow a beard.
