chris_yu Posted January 2, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 2, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have encountered black corners when using the Apo-Telyst-R 800/5.6 on M240P with the attachment of the R-Adapter-M(14642) as shown on the attached photos.BTW, I have set the lens detection to manual 280 f/4 11261/11360.There is no such problem when I am using the 800/5.6 with any R cameras. Dao De Leitz Posted January 2, 2016 Share #2 Posted January 2, 2016 Hello Chris, I think this contribution gives one possible answer: Telyt 400mm: What I am doing wrong??? ... be ... aware of the following thread (in German)http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/tier-natur/335230-die-amsel-und-der-nachwuchs.html#post2716370That thread explains that the vignetting is due to the narrower bayonet of the M-mount.There is no vignetting with the R-mount.... Maybe it helps to get/find a good solution for the problem. Thorsten
gautier Posted January 2, 2016 Share #3 Posted January 2, 2016 I have the same issue (see this post). And with the same adapter, the new SL seems to be affected too If you try another adapter with these Apo-Telyt-Modul-R, I'm interested by the results
jaapv Posted January 2, 2016 Share #4 Posted January 2, 2016 I have a feeling the Novoflex adapter is just a little bit wider. Worth a try?
