Iduna Posted December 14, 2015 Share #1 Posted December 14, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) The German word "Bratwurst" implies a food favourit in Germany. Sausage Barbecue, with Ketchup is a must for many people. I prefer gazing at those hordes munching the stuff on a paper plate along with the delicious "paper roll" slurping the sauce or mayonnaise with t toothpick sorry, not my cup of tea ... stuny Posted December 14, 2015 Share #2 Posted December 14, 2015 Lovely shot, but not my cup of tea, either.
Iduna Posted December 15, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted December 15, 2015 Stuart, yes, that's how the crowd is....thanks for sharing the same opinion....
HeinzX Posted December 15, 2015 Share #4 Posted December 15, 2015 I like the shot and I like the Bratwurst. But at home and grilled by my wife together with Sauerkraut and without ketchup. But together with potatoes and one or two glasses of brut sparkling wine - i.e. Freixenet. Champagne would do the trick too - but in my opinion this is a kind of being overdressed for this purpose. Iduna Posted December 15, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted December 15, 2015 Thanks, Heinz, you are right, a fine wine and a good sort of vegetable will certainly improve the "meal". Home is always better. I am just fascinated by the disgusting way of eating outside on paper with smelly environment, shoveling it in with plastic picks and fingers beyond any hygienic precaution (just out of the tram). Louis Posted December 15, 2015 Share #6 Posted December 15, 2015 How I wish I had a bite!... I very much like the atmosphere, dear iduna.
Sparkassenkunde Posted December 15, 2015 Share #7 Posted December 15, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Aside from liking or disliking this kind of fast food I like the way you processed this image Btw: The original Thueringer Bratwurst is the only one worth talking about
A miller Posted December 15, 2015 Share #8 Posted December 15, 2015 very nice, Iduna. You've captured a slice of your culture very well. Very interesting..

Iduna Posted December 16, 2015 Author Share #10 Posted December 16, 2015 Louis, thanks - a bite, yes of course the whole course .... James, aha, thanks for your nice comment and information. The rendering, yes - I tried to describe the situation almost reduced to lightseams. I am happy if this worked. Adam, thank you so much, your nice review is being appreciated! Yes, B&W, like the thing or not.... Rodrigue, mmmmh, my husband keeps saying ( after a few repeated tests) that this undefined pulp of pork will cause a very clear answer from the digesting system..... Thanks for sharing the taste.... Bateleur Posted December 17, 2015 Share #11 Posted December 17, 2015 Nor mine, though I have been known to indulge in Thueringer Bratwurst, but the photograph is high on my taste palette ;-) Gruss Charles

david strachan Posted December 17, 2015 Share #13 Posted December 17, 2015 Hilarious post Iduna, with all the comments on how to eat. Must admit, I'm not into eating in public either. And not always keen on "Mystery Bags" (sausages). Always love your varied posts. cheers Dave S
Iduna Posted December 18, 2015 Author Share #14 Posted December 18, 2015 Dave, fine, your nice comment and feedback. Thank you! Yeah, dining in public is a very detestable thing: dogs sniffing, dust from the street, people gazing and sneezing, you have to watch your back and bags...with a Leica as a "must-have" object for pickpockets or in defence of a hot-dog with mustard on your lens.... But in spite of this I am planning a further stroll over the market on the coming weekend.
