Pecole Posted December 4, 2015 Share #1 Posted December 4, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've had black spots on my photos for some time, especially on wide angle contrasted, bright shots (see Example attached). The technician consulted confirmed the origin of the problem : the retracting lens acts as an "aspirator"...and the Leica quality being what it is today for small cameras... dust invades the captor! Cleaning is of course possible, but seems to be costing nearly as much as a new camera. Welcome, dear visitor! Manoleica Posted December 4, 2015 Share #2 Posted December 4, 2015 Hi, I use the V-Lux 4 & 40 daily for work.. They live in my car - No issues except for a few scratches..No sensor issues.. Why not either trade it in or have it CLA @ Leica..
