Would You share a few of your PP settings? Thank you. I like simplistic edits, but usually dislike the default bright tone curves in the RAW file or RAW editors. My default profile is a very neutral tone curved .dcp profile in Lightroom I created myself. Its flatter than the standard profile for the M11 or other "standard" profiles. Fairly straight forward to create for other cameras. You could PM me if you want, depending on your camera model I could make one for you depending on some limitations. Anyways. In this case I used a linear dcp profile and applied the following edits. Raising the blacks is a uniquely Leica M11 thing for me. I find Leica treats their black points very differently in the DNG files and they feel often crushed a little compared to my D850 or any other Nikon camera I had prior. The Linear tone curve doesn't have any artificial mid tone brightening and flattening of the highlights. So adding contrast to a linear profile maintains good contrast in the brighter areas of the image without the flattening from a default tone curve. I think of it more like my B&W developing days where I would be using a lower contrast developer on a film. Welcome, dear visitor! I will go forward testing these setting... even if they are not as ¨dramatic¨ as I might would have guessed 😉 An also a surprise to me that the clarity is left alone. Keep up Your very nice B&W work! PS: must admit that the camera specific preset tone curve is over my head... 😉 Regards, Stein Kjetil

Do you use Lightroom Classic by any chance? I'll PM you when I get back from my trip towards the end of the month.
